my xanga has been moved to a new location. as i close this chapter in my life, it's only fitting to start fresh with a clean slate. if you don't know the name by now, just let me know and i'll make sure you know it
the final goodbye. today was the long antcipated final goodbye and it was anticlimactic. nearly 10 years [off by a few months] from when we first met we had the conversation that would end our decade long story. a whole decade of my life slammed shut in less than an hour's worth of conversation. this night was a few years in the making...building up for 4 months. sad for it to happen? sure who wouldn't be...that was my childhood that i just parted with. every memory. sad to see it all go but it's time to move on to the next chapter of my life. we both deserve people that make us happy so hopefully...we'll find that person.
and that's how it ends. this does not mean pity me, nor does it mean you need to tip toe around me...it means don't bother asking how things are going or asking about him. thanks. i am and will be fine.
So. snowboarding weekend was AWESOME. the run down goes as follows:
leave church EXTREMELY behind schedule. ETD: 9:30 ACTUAL departure time: i think around 10:30
drive like crazy to the boondocks: almost died
going from 208 onto 287- "OMG I THINK I JUST PEED MY PANTS" then the
crazy dark, curvy and WET roads "WOW i'm surprised your car kept up
with nick for most of the time" and of course "OMG WHERE ARE
WE...THERE'S NO SERVICE!!!!!!"
FINALLY arrive to the motel :
think bates motel from psycho. office is closed. all other rooms are
vacant. NO CELL PHONE SERVICE! and no chains to lock our doors! after
saying hi and making plans with the other 1/2 of the group, we get
ready for bed
"you're the big spoon and i'm the little spoon so
you better watch yourself" "hey what's this...is that you?- YES! IT'S
MY BUTT!" and of course..."OUR BED IS SMALLER THAN YOURS!!!! IT'S ONE
FULL AND ONE QUEEN!!!!- oh...no wonder we have so much room"
i wake up at 6am look out the window and damn it's
raining. wake up at 7am, open the door and jump back from the sight of
360degrees rain. what does that mean? the rain is coming in from the
top, right, left and bottom- basically it was a monsoon! zip up the
northface, put the hood on, roll up my pants and go in search of
co-fearless leader.
rain stops at around 8am....sun's coming out
WTFREAK! umm...yeah we had an AWESOME day snowboarding!
ate at the inn between and head home
all in all it was a great bonding
experience and we got to make a few new friends. the drive up was
hilarious! i was so sleepy at church but man...props to my passengers
for really keeping me entertained. we were bumpin the music: all i want
for christmas is you...how deep is your love and of course...truly
madly deeply. we had ac slater and his "huuah huuah" [actual spelling
done by slater himself] then we had tsuei and kim trying to imitate.
after the drive home, we decided to show those CTE-ers a good time so
we went to the REACH frat house and enjoyed the delightfully warm
weather and had some good times of fellowship- REACH-style: food,
cranium, football, poker and pong headed out for some soondubu- pal park style and SURPRISE bumped
into the blastoff kids- apparently eating their 3rd round of the day
yummm. then....went BACK to the frat house for some fun times:
look at all those shoes
even the chu's came out to play!
so, on to the title. after team badass
shot down team "holy hitters"- think raising helen haha team badass
part duex put team queens/bayside [whatever they were called] to shame
we went for the badass championship. it was a heartbreaking loss but
there was a rematch involved. and the rematch was one of those edge of
your seat, bcs/superbowl games- think boise state vs. oklahoma. it was
the game for all the rights...the bragging rights and the right to be
the TRUE- one and only team badass. i think the major factor in the
game was our 4th team member embraced reality and rejoined team badass
after losing with team holy hitters. in any case...we were down by a
lot. it was definitely a scary moment and then.....4 IN A ROW
YES...you read right. as nick put it "THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF"
HAHAHA we got the mother of all roll backs...too bad we squandered it
hahaha. in any case....after a long and intense game...we had a big
winning group hug then cleaned up the frat house and finally went home.
ok..not as bad! but i've been struggling with bouts of insomnia lately. i wake up at random moments of the night and have trouble going back to sleep. i'll end up going online [chatting and shocking ppl i'm up], checking email/xanga, watching some tv and eventually fall back asleep. it's not all that bad and doesn't really give me trouble waking up in the morning...it's just getting tiresome waking up in the middle of the night. i just want to sleep comfortably through the night peacefully and happily.
maybe it's time i stop sitting around waiting for my future to begin and take hold of my life again. maybe i need to MAKE it happen.
it's been pretty fun chillin with friends lately. at least the jersey friends keep me sane! never tried the macaroni grill : create your own pasta. it was pretty bangin last nite hahahaa yummmmmm =D
:edit: umm..how come i didn't know they went on hiatus? was there a season finale?! wat the freak!
within the last week, i have gone to the mall 4 times. each time has been deadly.
saturday: morning- paramus park with the family. not TOO bad but for that mall..it was hectic night- GARDEN STATE PLAZA ON A SATURDAY BEFORE XMAS WEEKEND!!!?!?!?!!? are we CRAZY?! yes...we were. we stayed till 10:45!!!!! that was quite the shocker. hahaha and we managed to survive WITH the super baby jogger stroller. bathroom emergencies and all...we survived
monday- trekked all over paramus to pick up some last minute stuff then headed to paramus park. parked at macys...walked ALL THE WAY to sears looking for the game store just to pick up a giftcard. tuesday during my sick day- we trekked out to garden AGAIN at 2pm. we stayed till 9:30. after we hit ALL the 2nd floor stores alex started to complain that he was dying of starvation...we still don't know how he handled to shop with us [5 girls including k&k] not only did we shop forever...we had kiddie emergencies left and right
bathroom emergency while at gap which created much panic. [picture a frantic erica and grace RUNNING [with katie in my arms] through gap, then the mall then nordstroms RUSHING to the bathroom like there's no tomorrow while i was terrified she'd pee on me]
kayla waking up to being alone with alex and it made her very unhappy [insert tears]
kayla wanting to be held until my arms almost fell off- i tried to pawn her onto other people but...some people were not favorable in her eyes
packages/bags outweighing the girls so the stroller kept almost tipping hahahaha-their mom so graciously let them have a free ride as the stroller tipped over while they were in there...HAHAHA
that darn stroller is sometimes very difficult to maneuver through stores
people with TERRIBLE elevator etiquette. TAKE THE STAIRS RUDE PEOPLE!
all in all- another fun day at the mall! hahaha it's always so fun to go shopping. unfortunately, we walked in circles looking for erica's store...that doesn't even exist anymore!
